One of our recycling initiatives is the sale of woodchip. Most work done on trees results in the creation of branch and leaf debris, which is chipped to produce woodchip.
It might look useless, but it's actually really handy to have around.
One of the best uses of woodchip is as mulch. Cover the soil around your plants and shrubs with woodchip and it'll bring many benefits! The soil will stay damp and keep its integrity, and the woodchip will contribute to the nutrients in the soil and keep weeds at bay.
Help us make the most of our woodchip.
